April’s short bio:
April is the president of TheEcoDivas, LLC, a thriving internet-based sustainable design firm devoted to educating hip, urban professionals about being eco-friendly and fabulous in their homes.

As a young girl growing up in Indiana, April learned an earthy lifestyle at her mother’s knee, canning vegetables fresh from the garden, making homemade jams and rolls, experiencing life at its most basic and simple.
As she grew older, April moved into modeling and fine arts and learned the fine art of disposable living. April earned a degree in interior design and ultimately began working one-on-one with clients around the globe.

But there was still something missing for April, as she felt the entrepreneurial “bug” and she decided to open her own interior design firm. Simultaneously, she set a personal goal of improving her health. As a result of this goal, April learned a great deal about the toxins in her environment as well as in her foods. This led April to return to her natural roots, transforming her company into a completely sustainable design company, focusing exclusively on eco-friendly, green, and non-toxic  interior projects.

Today, April has thrown herself into a leadership role in her community, participating directly with local environmental groups. April works hand in hand with the EPA and local green organizations, municipalities and communities to form policies and guidelines for environmentally sustainable community development.

TheEcoDivas is April’s latest entrepreneurial venture. Focusing on education, training, and fabulous interior design, TheEcoDivas offers a weekly e-zine called, “The Eco Diva-zine” and products designed to educate urbanites on how to transform their homes into fabulous meccas of healthy, environmentally-conscious design. TheEcoDivas is the synergy of April’s passion for the environment, healthy living and gorgeous interiors.
